Our client, an innovative company in their field is currently looking for a R&D Engineer to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. As an R&D Engineer, you'll play a key part in delivering both new and existing product development projects from concept through to manufacture.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, development and delivery of new and existing products and associated instrumentation
- Manage and support product development activities from concept through to verification, validation and transfer to manufacture
- Produce and maintain technical documentation in line with regulatory and quality system requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including regulatory, quality, manufacturing, marketing and suppliers
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and aligned with company strategy
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Proven experience managing product development projects, ideally within a regulated industry
- Strong ISO 13485 knowledge
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Solid CAD capability, preferably using SolidWorks
- Understanding and practical application of FEA (theory and software)
- Demonstrable success in delivering robust, effective product designs
