Our client, a global pharmaceutical company, is currently looking for a QA Senior Specialist to join their team in Uxbridge on a full time, 12-month temporary contract (35 hours per week). As Senior QA Specialist, you will act as the primary quality contact for assigned products and contract manufacturing partners. You’ll oversee external quality activities, ensuring compliance with global regulatory frameworks (FDA, EMA and beyond) and internal quality systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead quality oversight of contract manufacturers, ensuring adherence to cGMP and GDP requirements
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with QA teams at external sites
  • Drive discussions and resolutions relating to deviations, complaints, OOS investigations, and change controls
  • Review and approve master and executed batch documentation
  • Manage and assess change control processes, including evaluation, approval routing, escalation, and follow-up
  • Support and approve product complaint investigations involving third‑party manufacturers
  • Review and approve validation protocols and reports (process and transfer), investigations, and quality documentation

Requirements

  • Degree in a scientific discipline
  • Strong experience in pharmaceutical Quality Assurance
  • Strong working knowledge of US, EU and international GMP/GDP regulations
  • Proven experience supporting FDA and/or EMA inspections
  • Hands‑on experience working with contract manufacturers and external partners
  • Solid technical understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing and quality systems
