Our client based in Middlesex are currently seeking a Romanian-speaking Client Accountant to manage client accounts, VAT, and tax matters. This role offers the chance to work closely with a diverse client base, supporting them with their accounting and tax needs while building long-term professional relationships. You'll be part of a collaborative team with access to ongoing training and career progression.
As a Client Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Act as a main point of contact for clients, handling queries related to tax and accounts
- Prepare accounts up to Trial Balance for handover to the finalisation team
- Build and maintain strong, professional client relationships
- Liaise with HMRC when needed, including reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
- Ensure all client data is complete, accurate, and up to date
- Prepare and submit VAT returns
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in an accounting role
- Fluent in both Romanian and English
- Up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation and accounting practices
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- A proactive mindset with the ability to manage client relationships effectively
