We are a fully private, independent dental practice based in the attractive market town of Thame, Oxfordshire. Our practice offers a wide range of treatments including general dentistry, dental implants, Invisalign and facial aesthetics. The Opportunity
We are seeking a qualified and GDC-registered Dental Nurse to join our supportive and experienced team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organised, reliable and committed to delivering high standards of patient care in a private setting.
Working Hours available:
- Monday: 8:00am – 7:00pm
- Tuesday: 8:00am – 7:00pm
- Wednesday: 8:00am - 7:00pm
- Thursday: 2:00pm – 7:00pm
- Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Support
- Assist dentists during a range of procedures including general dentistry, implants and Invisalign
- Prepare and maintain the clinical environment before, during and after treatments
- Ensure all instruments and materials are ready and sterilised in line with infection control protocols
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Patient Care
- Provide a high standard of care and reassurance to patients throughout their visit
- Support patients with pre- and post-treatment information
- Maintain a calm and professional manner at all times
- Compliance and Standards
- Adhere to GDC standards and practice policies
- Follow strict cross-infection control and decontamination procedures
- Ensure all health and safety requirements are met
- Practice Support
- Assist with stock control and ordering of dental materials
- Support smooth day-to-day running of the practice
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to deliver an excellent patient experience
About You
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Dental Nurse
- GDC registered
- Previous experience in a dental practice
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable
- Experience in private dentistry
- Exposure to implants, Invisalign or facial aesthetics
