Recruitare is partnering with a leading European data centre contractor to recruit an experienced BIM Coordinator for a major data centre project based in Blyth. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of Europe's leading mission-critical contractors, working on large-scale, technically complex data centre developments.

As part of a collaborative project team, you'll play a key role in coordinating BIM activities, ensuring accurate model integration and supporting the successful delivery of MEP installations on site.

The Role

  • Coordinate and resolve clashes between multiple building services disciplines.
  • Produce and manage 2D and 3D drawings, models, schedules and project documentation.
  • Deliver BIM coordination milestones in accordance with project programmes.
  • Work closely with package managers, site engineers and design teams to coordinate complex MEP installations.
  • Review models to ensure quality, accuracy and compliance with project standards.
  • Support the implementation of BIM processes and best practices throughout the project.
  • Assist and mentor junior BIM team members where required.
  • Collaborate with the wider project team to ensure efficient project delivery.

About You

  • Minimum 4 years' experience working within a BIM coordination role on large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong Revit experience with an MEP focus is essential.
  • AutoCAD experience is preferred.
  • Navisworks experience would be highly advantageous.
  • Relevant degree in Engineering, Building Services or a related discipline.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary project team.
  • Previous experience within data centres, industrial, pharmaceutical or other mission-critical projects would be highly advantageous.
