Job Description

Document Controller Northumberland Park Recruit are delighted to be partnering with a leading contractor specialising in the delivery of large-scale data centre projects across the UK and Europe.

Due to new project wins, we're seeking an experienced Document Controller to join their team in the Northumberland region .

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile project with a business renowned for delivering complex, mission-critical facilities.

Key

Responsibilities: Manage and maintain project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Ensure all documents are accurately recorded, distributed, and filed in line with company procedures.

Control the issue and tracking of drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.

Coordinate document flow between project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.

Maintain document registers, trackers, and revision logs.

Carry out quality checks to ensure documentation complies with company standards.

Ensure the latest document revisions are available to all relevant stakeholders.

Support QA/QC processes by maintaining accurate and traceable records.

Prepare document status reports and monitor outstanding documentation.

Manage the storage, archiving, and retrieval of project information.

Attend project meetings where required to support document management.

Identify and escalate any document control issues when necessary.

Candidate

Requirements: Essential - minimum 2 years experience in a Document Controller position within construction, engineering, or a similar environment.

Experience using document management platforms such as Aconex, Procore, Viewpoint, or equivalent.

Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related discipline.

Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

Strong communication and coordination skills.

Able to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.

Keen to develop your career within a fast-paced project environment.

Previous experience on data centre, industrial, or other large-scale construction projects would be advantageous.
