Park Recruit are delighted to be working with a highly respected and growing specialist engineering and fabrication business to recruit an experienced TIG Welder / Fabricator. Our client has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality bespoke metalwork across a range of commercial and specialist projects. The Role

This position is predominantly factory-based, focusing on precision fabrication and TIG welding, with occasional site installation work as required. The successful candidate will take pride in producing high-quality finished products and working to exacting standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • TIG welding of stainless steel, mild steel, brass, and copper
  • Fabrication of bespoke metal components from technical drawings
  • Reading and interpreting engineering and fabrication drawings accurately
  • Working to high-quality finish standards and tight tolerances
  • Assembly and fitting work within the workshop
  • Occasional installation and fitting work on-site
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Working collaboratively with the wider team to meet project deadlines

Criteria

  • Proven experience as a TIG Welder / Fabricator
  • Strong TIG welding experience, particularly with stainless steel
  • Ability to work independently from drawings and specifications
  • Excellent attention to detail and workmanship
  • Positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills
  • Full driving licence essential
  • Willingness to undertake occasional site work

Desirable Experience

  • Site installation or fit-out experience
  • Experience within bespoke or architectural metalwork
