Park Recruit is proud to be partnering with a rapidly growing construction specialist to appoint an experienced Project Manager. This role is ideally suited to a Civil or Building Project Manager who is comfortable managing multiple sites and projects, with regular travel to England required.
Role Overview
The Project Manager will take full responsibility for the planning, coordination, and delivery of construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage stakeholders across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of construction projects from pre-construction through to completion
- Develop and manage detailed project programmes, budgets, and resource plans
- Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution
- Monitor progress against programme and implement corrective actions where required
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Manage project risks, identifying and mitigating potential issues proactively
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders to maintain clear communication
- Conduct regular site visits across England to oversee project delivery and performance
- Provide accurate reporting on project status, costs, and timelines
Candidate Requirements
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline
- Full, clean driving licence
- Willingness and flexibility to travel regularly to England (essential)
- Relevant certifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS) desirable
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within construction (civil engineering or building background preferred)
- Experience managing multi-site or geographically spread projects
- Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, and project delivery
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities across multiple projects
- Proficient in project management software and reporting tools
