Park Recruit are working with a leading national contractor within the electrical and construction sectors, who are seeking an experienced HSEQ Manager to lead and embed best-in-class health, safety, environmental and quality standards across its operations. This is a senior role requiring a strong electrical and/or construction background, with proven experience working on live sites across electrical contracting, utilities, infrastructure or building services projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of HSEQ policies and procedures.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders on all health and safety matters.
- Produce and manage risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) specific to electrical and construction activities.
- Carry out site audits, accident investigations and statutory reporting in line with industry legislation.
- Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and HSEQ training tailored to electrical and construction teams.
- Oversee compliance relating to PPE, tools, vehicles, lone working and high-risk site activities.
Essential Experience & Background
- Minimum 5 years experience in a senior HSEQ role.
- Electrical and/or construction industry experience is essential, ideally within electrical contracting, utilities, infrastructure or building services.
- Strong working knowledge of construction site safety, electrical hazards and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Third-level qualification in Health & Safety (or related discipline).
- NEBOSH / IOSH qualification essential.
- Full driving licence required.
