Due to an increased demand, our client, an industry specialist within the construction industry, are seeking an experienced and proactive MEP Design Manager to oversee mechanical and electrical (M&E) design and coordination for high-profile projects across diverse sectors. The role focuses on technical excellence, innovation, sustainability, and collaborative leadership. Key Responsibilities: Manage the M&E CDP and coordination process, leading the BIM team and working with engineers, supply chains, and project teams. Develop cost-effective and sustainable technical solutions to enhance project value. Provide expert guidance, resolve challenges, and ensure designs meet industry standards. Facilitate coordination workshops, track progress, and implement action plans to meet project milestones. Mentor and support team members, encourage continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. Requirements: Proven experience as an M&E Design Manager or similar roles, managing projects worth £530M. Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and building regulations. Level 4 qualification (minimum); a degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services is preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
