Park Recruit are working with an offsite industry specialist, in the appointment of a technically strong Architectural Technologist. This role is required to support projects from early design through to construction and delivery, and would suit someone who is detail-focused, confident working across complex technical information, and comfortable taking ownership of design coordination.
The Role:
- Producing technical drawings from concept and planning through to detailed construction.
- Working on projects ranging from approx. £200k to £30m.
- Ensuring designs meet internal standards, cost budgets and current Building Regulations.
- Coordinating closely with Architects, Engineers, Clients and internal delivery teams.
- Managing and issuing all technical drawings and project information.
- Preparing material schedules and carrying out U-value assessments.
- Submitting Planning and Building Control applications and liaising with authorities.
- Coordinating structural and M&E inputs to ensure fully resolved designs.
- Attending design meetings, site visits and factory walkarounds to verify build accuracy.
- Supporting tenders with technical drawings and advice.
- Maintaining compliance with CDM, health & safety and relevant regulations.
Person Requirements:
- A third-level qualification in Architectural Technology, Architecture, Building Studies or similar (or equivalent experience).
- Very strong technical knowledge of building design, construction methods and detailing.
- Excellent understanding of current Building Regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit (ArchiCAD, Solibri and BIM experience advantageous).
- Highly detail-oriented, organised and capable of managing multiple technical tasks.
- Confident working collaboratively and taking ownership of technical delivery.
- Professional membership (CIAT, CIOB) beneficial but not essential.
Location: Lisburn - hybrid, 3 days office based, 2 days wfh.
