Park Recruit are delighted to be working with a well-established electrical contracting business to recruit an experienced Electrical Estimator. The company delivers high-quality electrical services to prestigious clients across the Educational, Industrial, Commercial, Hospitality & Leisure, and Sports Floodlighting sectors throughout the UK and Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to play a key role in the preparation of tender submissions and contribute to the continued growth and success of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse tender documentation, including drawings, specifications, and schedules, to prepare accurate bids.
- Prepare and submit competitive tenders within specified deadlines.
- Liaise with the supply chain to obtain competitive and compliant quotations.
- Identify and cost value engineering opportunities.
- Attend mid-tender and post-tender review meetings as required.
- Work collaboratively with the project delivery team, ensuring effective handovers to preconstruction and contracts managers.
Key Skills & Criteria:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Electrical Estimator or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and installation methods, ideally supported by a relevant apprenticeship or HNC/HND qualification.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365, with experience using Trimble estimating software preferred.
- Strong commercial awareness and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
