Park Recruit are delighted to be partnering with a leading global engineering and manufacturing organisation in the Mid Ulster area to recruit a Data Manufacturing Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to join an innovative business at the forefront of industrial equipment manufacturing, supporting the accurate flow of engineering and production data across the organisation.
As a Data Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in managing product and manufacturing data, ensuring information is accurate, up to date, and supports efficient production processes. Working closely with Engineering, Production, Purchasing, and Quality teams, you will help maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), product structures, and engineering data within the company's systems.
Key Responsibilities- Create and maintain Engineering and Manufacturing Bills of Materials (EBOMs & MBOMs).
- Manage product data, part numbers, revisions, and engineering documentation.
- Support engineering change processes and ensure updates are reflected across all systems.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturing data meets operational requirements.
- Investigate and resolve data discrepancies relating to BOMs, routings, and master data.
- Support new product introductions through accurate product setup and data management.
- Produce reports and data analysis to support engineering and manufacturing activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and data governance processes.
Strong understanding of product structures, revision control, and engineering change management. Experience working within an engineering or manufacturing environment. Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Good Microsoft 365 skills.
Qualifications: Degree in Engineering with at least 2 years' relevant experience, or Foundation Degree / Higher Level Apprenticeship in Engineering with at least 4 years' relevant experience.
