Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the Front of House operations, ensuring the intended guest experience is delivered consistently.
- Act as the face of the hotel, engaging with guests, handling feedback and resolving issues with confidence and care.
- Lead, coach and develop your management and front office teams, creating a high-performance and engaged culture.
- Ensure staffing, resources and rotas are optimised to meet business demand.
- Drive service excellence, brand standards and compliance across the department.
- Manage departmental productivity, payroll and cost controls in line with targets.
- Identify opportunities to enhance guest experience, revenue and operational efficiency.
- Work closely with key stakeholders across the hotel including Operations, Guest Experience, Finance, HR and Commercial teams.
- Ensure health & safety, data protection, asset protection and ESG standards are adhered to at all times.
- This is a highly visible, guest-facing role where you will act as a brand ambassador, working collaboratively with hotel leaders to ensure guests receive an outstanding experience from arrival to departure.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Front of House Manager or Assistant Front Office Manager within a branded hotel environment.
- Strong operational knowledge of Front Office systems and procedures.
- Confident people leadership skills with experience managing performance and engagement.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to balance service excellence and operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication skills and a calm, professional presence.
- Strong systems knowledge, including Opera PMS and workforce or forecasting tools.
