Park Plaza Westminster Bridge is a leading Meetings and Events Hotel with 32 conference, event and meeting rooms, including the Westminster Ballroom for up to 1,400 delegates. The role of Meetings & Events Operations Manager is to oversee the day-to-day delivery and performance of a large-scale, high-volume Meetings & Events operation, reporting into senior leadership.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring seamless event execution while balancing hands-on delivery with proactive initiatives to drive operational performance and guest experience.

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Support the end-to-end delivery of the Meetings & Events operation in a complex, high-volume environment.
  • Oversee the setup and execution of events, ensuring rooms are arranged to precise client specifications (AV, staging, seating, décor).
  • Lead event day operations, coordinating banquet, AV, and service teams to deliver seamless execution from setup to breakdown.
  • Manage event logistics and service flow, including timings, transitions, and alignment across operational teams.
  • Ensure all event spaces are maintained, clean, and ready for service, with efficient turnaround between events.
  • Act as the on-site operational point of contact for clients, managing real-time requests and ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and aligned delivery across all departments.

Education, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience within Meetings & Events operations, hospitality, or a similar high-volume environment.
  • Experience managing conference and event delivery in complex venues.
  • Background in leading operational teams and supporting service excellence.
  • Exposure to financial processes such as cost control and productivity management.
  • Hospitality, events or business-related qualifications are advantageous.
