Park Plaza Westminster is a leading Meetings and Events Hotel in the heart of Central London. The role of the M&E Beverage Floor Manager is to manage the day-to-day operation from a Beverage perspective, whilst running a very busy Meetings and Events service. Reporting directly to the M&E Beverage Manager, it is the role of the Floor Manager to ensure all events are staffed and managed as per relevant documentation such as BEO, Floor plans, etc. Furthermore, you will ensure that the Beverage part of the Meetings and Events operations is always overseen and is performing to the best possible standards.

Operational responsibilities:
- Cross liaising with relevant departments such as Sales and Planning regarding Beverage requirements and Banquet Event Sheets
- Maintain controls and procedures to ensure the highest standards, efficiencies and professional operations are in place within the Beverage part of M&E
- Delegate and manage up to 100 agency, casual and permanent staff members
- Monitor prices, sales, breakages, wastes etc to ensure profit margins are in line with budgets and departmental KPIs
- Excellent knowledge of all beverages, including spirits, cocktails, wines, and beers
- Supporting with stock control, ordering, and conducting regular stock count
- First point of contact for the client, adhering to any questions or queries, and liaising back with the client during the day
- To have knowledge of setting up, safe operation, storage and safe handling and care of hotel Meeting & Events bar equipment β PDQs, Micros stations printers etc
- To assist in controlling all operational costs including payroll, F&B costs and wastage
- To conduct staff briefings and monthly departmental meetings
- To have full knowledge of departmental and hotel emergency plans, assisting M&E Operations Manager to train all departmental employees
