We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Driver Class 2 to join our team on a full‑time basis. The role is on‑site and based in Sutton Valence.
Responsibilities include:- The transportation of groundwork machinery to and from client sites across Kent
- Adherence to safety regulations
- Conducting routine vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness
- Coordinating with clients to deliver exceptional service
- Maintaining accurate delivery records
- Possession of a valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV license, CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence), and DigiCard
- Strong knowledge of local routes within Kent and proficiency in vehicle maintenance and pre‑use checks
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a professional and courteous demeanor
- Ability to handle and transport groundwork machinery safely and efficiently
- Attention to detail for accurate record‑keeping and compliance with safety regulations
- Previous experience in a similar role and familiarity with plant hire equipment will be an advantage
