Solutions Architect I

Solutions Architect I is a technically focused with a strong understanding of IT solutions and knowledge of the performance and analytics industry.

This role will work with the sales and technical team providing hands on project design, demonstrations and POCs.

To include the pre-sales coverage required in the early, mid, and final stages of the sales process.

This is a client facing role requiring excellent communication skills and the ability to work with senior executives in prospect accounts globally.

Responsibilities

  • Capture and assess client requirements and perform gap/fit analysis against possible solutions.
  • Education of clients, potential clients, and colleagues in the scope, features and operation of our solutions.

This includes creating and facilitating presentations and demonstrations.

  • Assist the sales team with bids and tenders for new clients, providing a technical perspective and guidance as to suitability of solutions for each client.
  • Coordinate with other technical resources to provide depth of understanding when required.
  • Assist the sales team in creating and running POCs, POVs.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the current features and roadmap of our core offerings and associated products.
  • Act as a consultant for customers and partners to ensure successful deployments and support.
  • Maintain an up to date understanding of future technology trends.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience with enterprise IT infrastructure.
  • A strong understanding of the fundamentals and principles of IT, with the ability to apply that knowledge across a broad spectrum of equipment and vendors.
  • Well organized and able to stay focused when under pressure.
  • The ability to tackle complex problems and a willingness to always learn.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken with an ability to successfully engage with team members and clients.
  • Experience of Microsoft Windows.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project management or delivery as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Technical background in IT field services

Create and develop accurate solution designs and realistic costing of proposals at the pre-sales stage.

This role will work with the technical team providing hands on project delivery, training, and system customization.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for providing excellent professional services, presales, post sales and technical support.
  • Design, deploy and rollout the network management solution accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform on-site system health-checks, resolve operational issues, and provide recommendations on operational best practices.
  • Design, develop and deliver software customizations.
  • Identify and evaluate new commercial opportunities that arise through advancement in technology or new software offerings.

Basic Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the field of IT Networks and Network Monitoring.
  • Experience with monitoring solutions for enterprise networks, SDN/SD-WAN, storage and/or hardware maintenance solutions.
  • Knowledge of Cisco IOS or similar technologies.
  • Knowledge of scripting.
  • Technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with Red Hat Linux.
  • A strong understanding of the fundamentals and principles of networking, with the ability to apply that knowledge across a broad spectrum of equipment and vendors.
  • Knowledge of enterprise datacenter technologies e. g., storage, servers, and networking.
  • Well organized and able to stay focused when under pressure.
  • The ability to tackle complex problems and a willingness to always learn.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken with an ability to successfully engage with team members and clients.
  • Aware of monitoring technologies and configuration.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience of Virtualisation platforms.
  • Experience of Active Directory Services.
  • Experience of SQL databases.
  • Experience of groovy scripting or other languages such as PHP, Perl, Python, Ruby, Tcl and Java Script.
  • Understanding of common programming models (client/server, web based, integration).
  • Fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, French or Italian.

This role will work with the Sales Team and Delivery Organizations.

In partnership with engineering team create and develop accurate solution designs and realistic costing of proposals at the pre-sales stage.

Responsibilities

  • In partnership with engineering teams create complex statement of works focusing on financial, resource allocations, technical accuracy, and level of efforts for both the PMO and Field Engineers for our clients.
  • Participate in discovery sessions with clients, as well as assist in both internal and external working sessions.
  • Build Financial Plans and Budgets that fit within the business expectations of healthy deals.
  • Develop transition plans, customizations, and the build out of preliminary project plans for the Park Place Project Management Tool.
  • Design, documents, and ability to communicate solutions proposals to client and internal stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the field of IT Networks.
  • A strong understanding of the fundamentals and principles of networking, data center, cabling, wifi, or end user compute, with the ability to apply that knowledge across a broad spectrum of equipment and vendors.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Comp TIA A+ Certification.
  • CCST or CCNA Certifications.
  • BICSI Certification.
  • ECSE Certification.
