Overview
In this role you ensure contract integrity across the Sales cycle by evaluating structure, risk, and compliance with company standards.
You collaborate with cross-functional teams to guide decision-making and draft language that meets both legal and customer needs.
You will assess and mitigate financial and legal risk, manage non-standard terms within acceptable thresholds, and support process improvements.
This position offers visibility into how contracts drive commercial outcomes and requires thoughtful, precise communication.

Responsibilities
- Guide Sales and leadership on contract structure and risk tradeoffs
- Review contracts for risk and compliance with guidelines (indemnity/liability, termination, penalties, licensing, payment terms)
- Participate in contract development and drafting to meet standards and customer needs
- Manage risks within defined parameters and approve non-standard terms within risk thresholds
- Maintain organized legal files and conduct independent risk and contract modifications
- Engage in process improvement initiatives and perform legal research
- Prepare transactional paperwork for customers and vendors
- Support collaboration across onsite and remote teams
- Other duties as assigned
- Key requirements
- 1+ years in legal contract evaluation and administration
- Advanced Microsoft Office and database experience
- Strong communication for collaboration with team, Sales, and customers
- Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
- Experience with contract management systems
- Understanding of legal and financial risks in the Sales-to-Invoice process
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Law degree, paralegal degree or certificate or substantial contract analysis experience required
