Are you a qualified Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP/ANP) from a nursing background seeking a fresh challenge in a forward-thinking, high-performing general practice? At Park Lane Surgery, we are proud to offer an exciting opportunity for an ACP to join our small and friendly team. Main duties of the job:
- Assessing, diagnosing, planning, treating and reviewing patients with both acute and chronic conditions
- Carrying out home visits when requested
- Carrying out part of the physical assessments of Learning disability reviews
- Managing clinical episodes independently including prescribing and referrals
- Taking a lead in unscheduled and emergency care
- Performing clinical procedures and planning care pathways
- Communicating effectively with patients, carers and clinical teams
Shift Schedule is currently: (subject to change)
- Wednesday - 8 hours
- Thursday - 8 hours
- Friday - 9 hours
Park Lane Surgery is a small, but busy GP practice; based in the rural area of Allestree, Derby, with over 8400 patients and 4 GP partners. We are forward thinking and pro-active, always aiming to maintain the highest standards of practice, to deliver excellent care to our patients as well as protecting the safety and well-being of staff.
