Duties and Role:

• Assists in the administration of services for command and control information systems, e.g., MCCIS, J-Chat, TACSAT, TOPFAS, LOGFAS, ICC, NIRIS, AirC2IS, Core-GIS, MSA, NCOP.
• Provides 24/7 support as part of a team.
• Collaborates with the OPSCEN and the Centralised Service Desk supporting ITIL processes.
• Delivers, activates, and maintains end-user applications.
• Performs patch management to keep services up to date.
• Performs additional duties as required.

Working Conditions:

Shift pattern includes nights and weekends, with 12-hour shifts from 7 am to 7 pm and 7 pm to 7 am. The pattern is 4 days, 4 nights, 8 days off, repeated 5 times, then 28 days off. No planned TDYs. Two staff members work together per shift. Shift pattern may change with additional staff.

Requirements:

• Active NATO SECRET security clearance.
• Good knowledge of IT hardware and auxiliary equipment.
• Experience with Configuration Management and Service Asset Management.
• Knowledge of NATO Functional Services such as NCOP, Core GIS, TOPFAS, LOGFAS, AirC2IS, NIRIS, MCCIS.
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• Experience working in international military and civilian environments.
• Understanding of NATO responsibilities and organization, including ACO and ACT.
