They are hiring senior Quantitative Developers / Research & Data Engineers in London to help build the core infrastructure of the new platform. The environment combines the backing, leadership, and track record of an established fund with the speed, ownership, and technical culture of a high-performing startup. The CTO personally reviews candidates and expects exceptional technical and communication skills.
The role covers areas such as real-time market data systems, quantitative research infrastructure, cloud-based simulation platforms, trading execution environments, and tooling for new strategies and asset classes. The stack is primarily Python with C++, across cloud and on-prem infrastructure. Candidates must have strong buy-side or equivalent high-performance engineering experience, deep Python and good C++ skills, quantitative understanding, and the ability to own major technical initiatives. Strong academic backgrounds from top universities are required.
Compensation is highly competitive, with London base salaries from £120k - £160k+ and total compensation commonly ranging from £450k to £600k+ depending on impact and seniority.
