The Opportunity
As Restaurant Manager of Yú Gé you will lead the operation of our signature restaurant, reporting to the Director of Food and Beverage. Your ownership will span service excellence, guest engagement, team culture and commercial performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and motivate a talented front‑of‑house team, fostering a culture of refinement, warmth and genuine hospitality.
- Ensure seamless Timbre of day‑to‑day restaurant operations with consistently personalised and memorable guest experiences.
- Work closely with culinary leaders to support menu development, seasonal updates and concept evolution that celebrate the artistry of Cantonese cuisine.
- Strengthen guest loyalty through thoughtful engagement, anticipatory service and attention to detail.
- Oversee reservations management and floor planning to optimise guest flow, ambience and efficiency.
- Manage financial performance of the restaurant including forecasting, cost control and revenue optimisation, ensuring alignment with overall F&B objectives.
- Develop and implement training programmes that elevate product knowledge, luxury service skills and Forbes standard delivery.
- Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness and operational organisation across all service periods.
- Use guest insights, market trends and competitive intelligence to guide continuous improvement and enhance the restaurant’s market positioning.
- Promote teamwork, inclusivity and a supportive working environment where every colleague feels valued and inspired.
About You
Strong experience in luxury or fine‑dining restaurant management, ideally within an environment that celebrates Asian or Cantonese cuisine. You understand the expectations of a globally recognised culinary market and are confident delivering exceptional service at the highest level. You combine clear operational leadership with a hands‑on approach and a genuine passion for creating remarkable dining experiences.
