Summary

As Events Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving meetings and events revenue, converting enquiries, and building strong client relationships across corporate, group and social event segments. You will represent Park Hyatt London River Thames with professionalism, warmth and confidence, creating rare and intimate experiences for every client. You will proactively identify and secure new business opportunities, handle group and event enquiries, quote hotel information, rates and availability, and prepare tailored proposals and contracts in line with agreed guidelines. You will conduct client appointments and site inspections, ensuring product knowledge, competitor awareness and market insight are always current. You will manage the event sales journey from enquiry through to handover, ensuring all booking details are accurately recorded in Envision and EMS EAS and communicated clearly to the Event Management and Operations teams. You will work closely with clients, agents, regular guests and third‑party suppliers to plan memorable, well executed and sophisticated events that encourage repeat business. You will monitor prospect, tentative and unconverted business to support conversion, assist with monthly reporting, and collaborate with the UK Area MICE team, Hyatt Sales Force, Revenue and Operations teams to develop and retain national and international accounts. You will also provide guidance, coaching and support to the Event Sales team, helping maintain a smooth, efficient and commercially successful department.

You are a confident and commercially focused events sales professional with strong experience in luxury hotels, meetings and events. You are proactive, organised and target driven, with excellent communication skills and a natural ability to build lasting relationships with clients, agents and internal teams. You enjoy creating exceptional event experiences, understanding client needs and converting opportunities into successful bookings. You are highly detail‑focused, responsive and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining calm, polished and sophisticated service. You bring an entrepreneurial mindset, strong leadership qualities and a collaborative approach.
