Duties and responsibilities related to the Assistant Housekeeping Manager role

  • Support the day-to-day operation of the Housekeeping department, ensuring every guest room, suite, public area and colleague space is presented to impeccable luxury standards.
  • Support and develop Housekeeping colleagues, helping to create a culture of excellence through coaching, training and day-to-day guidance.
  • Conduct quality inspections across the hotel, maintaining exceptional presentation and attention to detail at every touchpoint.
  • Work collaboratively with Front Office, Engineering, Food & Beverage and other departments to deliver a seamless luxury guest experience.
  • Support workforce planning, scheduling and inventory management to ensure the department operates efficiently while maintaining exceptional standards.
  • Respond confidently to guest feedback, resolving concerns with professionalism while continually looking for ways to enhance the guest experience.
  • Champion health, safety and brand standards while supporting departmental reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

You are an experienced housekeeping professional with a passion for luxury hospitality and an eye for exceptional detail. Ideally, you will have experience in a similar role within a luxury London hotel, where you have developed an understanding of the standards, pace and personalised service expected in one of the world's leading hospitality markets.
