Park HR is partnering with a leading aerospace manufacturer based in Portsmouth. Designers and manufacturers of first class aerospace equipment used around the world in both commercial and defence applications. Safety, reliability and quality are at the core of everything they do and we are looking for a Quality Inspector to join their growing Quality Assurance team. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring products meet aerospace standards and customer requirements.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Inspecting sub-assemblies and finished products throughout the manufacturing process
- Verifying conformity against engineering drawings, technical specifications, and quality requirements
- Using precision measuring equipment to perform dimensional and visual inspections
- Supporting production teams to maintain high quality standards in a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Identifying and reporting non-conformances while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
Who we are looking for:
- Previous experience in aerospace manufacturing quality inspection
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Experience using measuring and inspection equipment
- Experience in First Article Inspection
- Knowledge of AS9100, AS9102, and CAA Part 21G standards (preferred)
- Previous experience within an aerospace quality environment (preferred)
