Set on the edge of the market town of Shifnal, the Kitchen Assistant will be responsible for supporting the kitchen team to ensure a clean and hygienic environment. The Kitchen Assistant will ensure that all standards are maintained and that they work collaboratively and safely at all times. This role supports with putting deliveries away and stock rotation, so fantastic organisation and adaptability are required.

The role is hands-on for someone who is flexible and enjoys supporting the delivery of a great food experience as part of a strong team. Ideally, the Kitchen Assistant will have experience in a kitchen environment; however, if you have the drive and want to learn, we will help you develop and grow your skills.

Job Overview:

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the kitchen team, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food preparation. You will assist chefs with basic food prep, maintain hygiene and safety standards, and help keep the kitchen organized.

Experience & Qualifications:
  • Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is beneficial.
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene (Food Hygiene Certificate is a plus).
