The predicted salary is between 10 - 15 £ per hour.

This role will include evening and weekend hours.

In the Bar Staff role, you will be responsible for assisting the Bar Manager in the profitable and efficient running of the bar. You will need to ensure good stock rotation and control and maintain good customer relationships at all times.

In the Porter role, you will work alongside the reception and management team ensuring a smooth guest experience, whether that be in assisting with luggage, setting up function rooms or delivering travel cots to guests. You can be assured of variety in your role!

What will I be doing?

  • Prepare the bar area for day-to-day business.
  • Ensure that you have great knowledge of the drinks menu and bar offering.
  • Ensure adequate stocks of every product in bars.
  • Ensure a good stock of clean glasses at all times.
  • Ensure a friendly and professional guest experience.

In the porter role, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Greet guests, carry luggage and show guests to their rooms.
  • Complete departmental tasks which include cleaning brass, light gardening, checking light bulbs, delivering newspapers and cleaning all front of house areas.
  • Serve hot and cold beverages in the lounge, bar or room service and provide an efficient, polite, expert and friendly service of drink and food.
  • Maintain a neat and tidy appearance, adhering to the uniform standards at all times and maintaining professional behaviour.
  • Understand and comply with company policy on HASAWA, fire precautions, legal requirements, and perform any other tasks that may be required from time to time.
  • Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships.

  • A neat and tidy appearance (hair and fingernails) and adherence to uniform requirements.
  • Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
  • Ability to work on your own or in a team.
  • Although previous experience would be beneficial, it is not essential as full training will be provided.
