Job Summary
Lead daily operations and team management in a dynamic plant-based food environment. Drive food quality, cost control, customer satisfaction, and team performance to support Glow Food’s multi-concept growth.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front and back of house store operations to ensure smooth service flow and operational efficiency.
- Lead, supervise, and train service and kitchen team members to enhance performance and adherence to standards.
- Ensure compliance with food quality, hygiene, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain safety and brand standards.
- Manage inventory ordering, par stock levels, and stock control to optimize supply and reduce waste.
- Monitor cost of goods sold (COGS) and wastage, implementing cost-control measures to improve profitability.
- Handle customer feedback and execute service recovery to maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Drive sales performance by supporting marketing initiatives and promoting plant-based menu items.
- Coordinate effectively between kitchen and service teams to ensure timely and quality food delivery.
- Support staff onboarding, training, scheduling, and internal communication to build a cohesive team.
- Uphold proper opening and closing procedures to maintain operational readiness and security.
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum 3 years of F&B supervisory or management experience, preferably with multi-concept operations.
- Basic Food Hygiene Course certification (mandatory).
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills demonstrated through team supervision and training.
- Customer-oriented communication skills to engage and assist customers effectively.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Hygiene Officer Certificate (recommended).
- Basic food safety and hygiene knowledge, with WSQ certification preferred.
- Experience supporting plant-based and sustainability-focused food concepts.
