Park Homes UK Ltd is looking for compassionate, reliable and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistants to join the team at Munches Park Care Home.
You will support residents with their daily care needs, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. Whether you have previous care experience or are looking to begin a career in care, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver kind, person-centred care that reflects each resident’s needs, wishes and preferences.
- Support residents with personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting and oral hygiene, while maintaining dignity and privacy.
- Assist with eating and drinking, encouraging good nutrition and hydration.
- Support residents with mobility and moving and handling in accordance with their care plans and training.
- Encourage independence and support residents to make choices about their daily lives.
- Offer companionship and encourage participation in activities and social opportunities.
- Recognise and promptly report changes in residents’ health, wellbeing or behaviour to the senior team.
- Maintain accurate and timely care records using the home’s care systems.
- Follow care plans, infection prevention procedures and safeguarding policies.
- Work closely with colleagues to maintain a safe, welcoming and supportive environment.
- Communicate sensitively and professionally with residents, relatives and visitors.
About You

- A genuine interest in supporting older people.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A reliable and responsible attitude.
- A willingness to learn and complete relevant training.
- An understanding of the importance of dignity, confidentiality and individual choice.
Previous experience in a care setting and a relevant care qualification would be advantageous, but applications are also welcome from those new to care.
