We are seeking an exceptional Rapid Deployment Turnaround Manager to join our senior operations team. This is a rare opportunity for a confident, experienced care leader who can step into complex or challenged services at short notice, stabilise performance, strengthen compliance, rebuild teams, and create the conditions for long-term success. You will provide visible leadership where it matters most, taking immediate operational control, driving regulatory improvement, supporting recruitment of a permanent Home Manager, and delivering a structured handover once the service is stable. Throughout every deployment, you will have the full support of Park Homes’ experienced team, available 24/7 across operations, quality, HR, recruitment, and compliance.

Key responsibilities
- Be available for rapid deployment at short notice into complex, underperforming, or high-risk services across the North of England and Scotland.
- Assess service performance quickly and identify immediate priorities across care quality, staffing, governance, occupancy, culture, leadership, and compliance.
- Take hands-on control of turnaround activity, implementing clear improvement plans with pace, structure, and accountability.
- React quickly and effectively to urgent operational issues, safeguarding concerns, staffing shortages, incidents, complaints, and regulatory risks.
- Lead all aspects of regulatory readiness and service improvement in line with CQC, Care Inspectorate, safeguarding, and statutory requirements.
- Build, rebuild, and stabilise teams, creating a positive, professional, and accountable culture focused on high-quality resident care.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and skills transfer to deputy managers, clinical leaders, senior carers, and wider teams.
- Embed sustainable systems, routines, and governance processes so improvements remain in place after the turnaround phase.
- Assist in interviewing, selecting, and appointing a permanent Home Manager where required.
- Provide a full operational, regulatory, and leadership handover to the incoming manager to support a smooth and successful transition.
- Maintain strong relationships with residents, relatives, regulators, commissioners, and internal stakeholders.
- Provide timely, professional reporting to senior leadership on risks, progress, barriers, and next steps.
What we are looking for
- Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) or NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care, or equivalent.
- Strong senior leadership experience within elderly care, nursing home, residential care, or complex social care services.
- A proven track record of turning around challenged services and improving quality, compliance, culture, and performance at pace.
- Excellent understanding of CQC and/or Care Inspectorate requirements, governance, safeguarding, and quality assurance.
- The ability to build trust quickly, lead calmly under pressure, and make confident decisions in complex environments.
- Experience of recruiting, supporting, or onboarding Home Managers or other senior leaders.
- A practical, resilient, and highly responsive leadership style, with a strong focus on outcomes and people development.
- Flexibility to travel extensively and work nationally, with a full UK driving licence.
