The home Claremont Nursing Home is situated in the picturesque West Yorkshire village of Farsley in Leeds.

Claremont is a 48bed predominately purpose built care home with en-suite rooms and en-suite shower rooms.

Situated in the heart of Farsley, next to the Park, Claremont has ties with all aspects of the local community.

The Post Office, pharmacy, Village Hall, park and churches are all within easy reach, as are the dentist, opticians and public houses.

The Home is easily accessible by public transport, and within easy access of the main railway line.

Farsley is a beautiful conservation village located between Leeds and Bradford.

It is ideal for residents and families who have a requirement for convenient access.

The Home is situated in extensive grounds consisting of lawned areas and a car park to the front.

Key

Responsibilities: Perform routine inspections of the building, grounds, and equipment.

Carry out basic repairs including plumbing, painting, decorating, carpentry, and minor electrical work (within competency and legal requirements).

Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and management.

Maintain heating, lighting, ventilation, and other building systems.

Conduct regular health and safety checks, including fire alarm testing and emergency lighting inspections.

Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations.

Liaise with external contractors and supervise their work when required.

Maintain records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance schedules.

Keep outdoor areas, pathways, gardens, and car parks clean, safe, and accessible.

Assist with room preparations for new residents.

Monitor maintenance supplies and order materials as needed.

Support emergency repairs and out-of-hours issues when required.
