This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of clinical care for people living with complex dementia and mental health needs within a specialist care environment.

About the Role

As Clinical Lead, you will work closely with the Home Manager to provide clinical leadership across the home. You will support, mentor and develop the nursing team, ensure compliance with clinical governance standards, and promote a culture of continuous improvement. You will lead by example, ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate and high-quality care while supporting colleagues to achieve the very best outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strong clinical leadership and professional support to the nursing and care teams.
  • Ensure high standards of person-centred care are consistently delivered.
  • Lead on clinical governance, medication management and infection prevention.
  • Support the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of residents' care.
  • Mentor, coach and develop nursing colleagues.
  • Promote a positive culture focused on quality, dignity and respect.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, residents and families.
  • Support regulatory compliance and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Deputise for the Home Manager when required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Registered Nurse qualification (RGN/RMN) with a valid NMC PIN.
  • Previous experience in a senior nursing or clinical leadership role.
  • Excellent clinical knowledge and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication and organisational abilities.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional person-centred care.
  • Experience working with older people and individuals living with dementia and complex needs is desirable.
