The home: Charnwood Lodge is a warm, welcoming and friendly home that has some very special features. We have six living areas to relax in and enjoy company, including television rooms and lounges as well as our large downstairs area with a library, internet room and cafe to enjoy visits from relatives and friends. All our residents have their own comfortable and spacious en-suite bedroom, which can be personalised to their individual tastes. We also welcome couples into the home. We have beautiful sensory gardens, so residents can enjoy relaxation and activity outdoors.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule engaging activities (games, outings, workshops, events)
- Tailor activities to participants' interests, abilities, and needs
- Lead or facilitate activities and encourage participation
- Coordinate with staff, volunteers, and external providers
- Manage activity budgets and resources
- Promote upcoming events and keep participants informed
- Ensure health, safety, and accessibility standards are met
- Monitor and evaluate the success of activities
