We're looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Each Step Blackburn.

Working as part of our catering team, you'll play an important role in ensuring our residents enjoy nutritious, well-presented meals in a welcoming environment.

What You'll Be Doing Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals.

Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.

Washing up and ensuring kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored correctly.

Supporting the catering team with stock rotation and storage.

Providing a friendly and professional service to residents, visitors, and colleagues.

Following food safety, health and safety, and infection prevention procedures at all times.

What We're Looking For A positive, caring, and team-focused attitude.

Good communication skills.

Previous catering or kitchen experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

A commitment to maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety standards.

Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends on a rota basis.
