Eccleston Court Care Home is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivated Deputy Manager to support the effective leadership and day-to-day management of our care home. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious care professional looking to take the next step in their leadership career while making a meaningful difference to the lives of our residents.

Working closely with the Home Manager, you will help ensure the delivery of outstanding, person-centred care while maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements and promoting a positive culture for residents, families, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Home Manager in the overall operation and management of the care home.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the care team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor and maintain excellent standards of care, safety, and resident wellbeing.
  • Assist with staff recruitment, induction, training, supervision, and performance management.
  • Support occupancy growth through positive relationships with residents, families, professionals, and the local community.
  • Conduct audits, manage action plans, and drive continuous quality improvement.
  • Take responsibility for the home in the absence of the Home Manager.
  • Promote a culture of dignity, respect, inclusion, and excellence throughout the home.

About You

We are looking for a dedicated professional who has:

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience in a senior care leadership role, such as Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead, Unit Manager, or Senior Care Manager.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and quality standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional care and improving resident outcomes.
  • Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (minimum).
  • Good IT skills and experience with care planning and compliance systems.

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience supporting inspections and quality assurance processes.
  • Experience within elderly care, residential care, nursing care, or dementia care settings.
