Hazel Bank Nursing Home is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Manager to lead our dedicated team and ensure the highest standards of care for our residents. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated healthcare professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering person-centred care.
About the Role
As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, and performance of the home. You will ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, maintain excellent clinical standards, and create a positive environment for residents, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing home
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing care team
- Ensure safe, effective, and person-centred care delivery
- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- Manage budgets, occupancy, and staffing levels effectively
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, professionals, and stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement and quality assurance initiatives
- Ensure robust safeguarding, health & safety, and risk management practices
Requirements
- Valid NMC Pin (Registered Nurse qualification essential)
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, or senior leadership role within a nursing home or care setting
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and care standards
- Proven leadership and people management experience
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Passion for delivering outstanding elderly and dementia care
