Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Yield Assistant to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting park and call centre staff by managing bookings, addressing customer queries, and optimizing revenue. This includes managing sublets, building strong relationships with caravan and lodge owners, and helping to relocate guest bookings when necessary. The role also involves managing availability, assisting with promotional activities, and providing key reports to the Yield Manager to support overall business targets.
Job Duties
- Manage and optimise bookings, ensuring availability across external partners and company systems. Relocate guest bookings when required to maximise park occupancy.
- Assist in implementing yield management strategies across parks to enhance revenue, ensuring stock levels are monitored and profitability opportunities are identified.
- Efficiently handle customer queries, working with park and call centre teams to resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Manage and develop sublet opportunities to ensure maximum occupancy and revenue generation from vacant units.
- Provide ad-hoc reports and analysis to the Yield Manager, including competitor pricing and market activity analysis, fleet grading tasks, and stock level reviews.
- Work closely with external partners and internal teams, including General Managers, Holiday Sales Managers, and park administration staff, to support sales and operational goals.
- Assist with promotional activities and campaigns to drive sales within hire and touring operations at the park level.
- Conduct competitor pricing analysis to ensure competitive positioning in the market and suggest strategies for pricing optimisation.
- Attend relevant training courses recommended by the Holiday Sales & Marketing Manager, Yield Manager, or the Company to enhance skills and knowledge in the role.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and partners.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement and resolving customer or operational challenges efficiently.
- Willingness to adapt to changing business needs and priorities, including possible weekend or holiday work when required.
