We are seeking a dynamic and experienced L&D Specialist to join our People Operations Team. This is an exciting role where you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training across multiple park locations and at our Head Office. You will design, develop, and deliver both in-person and virtual training sessions. The role requires frequent travel and excellent communication skills to cater to varying abilities within our teams.

Job Duties

  • Design, develop, and deliver engaging training programs both in-person and virtually for employees across our parks and Head Office.
  • Provide hands‑on demonstrations and real‑time support during training sessions.
  • Adapt training methods to meet the needs of different learners, considering their technical capabilities and roles.
  • Create and update training manuals, presentations, videos, and other educational resources.
  • Customise training content for different departments, roles, or learning needs.
  • Keep all materials current with the latest updates, features, and company processes.
  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs through surveys, feedback, and employee performance evaluations.
  • Evaluate participant proficiency post‑training and recommend additional learning resources if necessary.
  • Ensure continuous learning and improvement by identifying gaps in knowledge.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for post‑training support.
  • Troubleshoot system‑related issues and elevate to IT where appropriate.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance as needed.
  • Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) to stay updated on new processes, approaches and system features and developments.
  • Collaborate with department managers, heads, and other stakeholders to tailor training programmes for operational needs.
  • Coordinate travel logistics and manage training schedules to ensure full coverage across all designated locations.
  • Adapt to different work environments and team dynamics while conducting on‑site training.

Requirements

  • Considerable years of experience in a similar role, particularly in delivering face‑to‑face training.
  • Certification in instructional design, training, or a related field is essential.
  • Previous experience with e‑learning platforms, virtual meeting tools, and Learning Management Systems (LMS) is advantageous.
  • Experience working with SuccessFactors, Elite Parks and Articulate or similar systems is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to simplify complex processes for non‑technical audiences.
  • Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and travel frequently (up to 80% of the time).
  • Self‑learner with the ability to stay updated on current learning and development (L&D) trends and tools.
  • Strong technical proficiency with IT systems and software.
