Park Hill Primary School is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teacher to join our Resource Base provision. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about inclusive education and is looking to develop their practice within a mainstream primary school, working within an enhanced provision, supporting pupils with additional needs.

About the Role:

  • Teach a small class of pupils with complex and additional learning needs
  • Plan and deliver high-quality, adapted lessons tailored to individual needs
  • Create a safe, nurturing and structured learning environment
  • Support pupils’ academic progress, emotional development and independence
  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, the SENCO and external professionals
  • Monitor, assess and record pupil progress in line with school policies
  • Contribute to behaviour support strategies and individual education plans

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience in a primary and/or SEND setting (desirable)
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to inclusive practice
  • Have high expectations for achievement and behaviour
  • Be passionate, patient, resilient and highly motivated
  • Be able to adapt teaching to meet a range of needs
  • Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Understand safeguarding and be committed to promoting pupil wellbeing
