To coordinate and manage the internal exclusion room, including resources and environment. To facilitate identified students having access to personalised programmes and support provisions so they are empowered to self‐manage and achieve expected rates of progress.
To work with Heads of Year and Pastoral Support Assistants to ensure identified students within their year group are supported in their learning and progress. To liaise effectively with Senior Leaders, Middle Leaders, SENCO, colleagues as well as parents/carers and other outside agencies.
To support students and staff with reintegration following a referral. To coordinate the daily operations of the Internal Exclusion Room (IEX) and deliver appropriate provision.
To develop personalised programmes for identified students in order that they fully access the curriculum and are empowered to self‐manage their own behaviour. To ensure the personalised curriculum delivered in IEX supports teaching and learning.
To develop and recommend students to specific programmes of support that will enable them to address and modify their behaviour. Identify, adopt and monitor the most effective behaviour approaches for students, including intervention programmes where necessary.
