This is an exciting opportunity for either an Early Career Teacher or an experienced practitioner who is keen to develop their teaching in a diverse, ambitious and high‑achieving school community.
The successful candidate will teach Business and Economics across designated classes, helping students to develop a strong understanding of enterprise, finance, decision‑making and the ways in which economic choices shape the world around them. Students are taught in mixed‑ability groups from Years 10‑13, with GCSE Business following the Edexcel specification and A Level provision including both Business and Economics. Our curriculum is rigorous, engaging and rooted in real‑world issues such as markets, globalisation, entrepreneurship and economic policy.
You will plan and deliver high‑quality, inclusive lessons that enable all students to make strong progress, while encouraging them to think critically, analyse data and apply their knowledge to contemporary business and economic contexts. You will also contribute to the ongoing development of departmental schemes of learning, assessment and feedback practices, and play an active role in the wider life of the school, including pastoral support as a form tutor.
We can offer you an exciting and innovative learning environment, excellent student behaviour, outstanding outcomes, and a supportive, enthusiastic team in which to grow and develop.
