Park Gate are an established company with a specialised electric motor rewind and repair department with a local and nationwide blue-chip client base. We have a vacancy for a Motor Rewind Department Workshop Labourer as follows:

  • To carry out painting including spray painting of electric motors, pumps, gearboxes etc and to ensure that all motor repairs are prepared and painted to the required standard.
  • To ensure that the workshop and yard are kept in a tidy and orderly fashion, ensuring that walkways are kept clear, machines are cleaned down, the spray area is cleaned, general floors are swept etc.
  • Other duties include moving jobs and parts around the workshop, cleaning and washing mechanical parts using high pressure washers, degrease stations etc.
  • Loading and unloading, with some FLT work for which training is given.
  • Occasional work includes driving/delivering, sorting and disposing of scrap, waste and packaging, stock replenishment, ensuring tools and equipment are safely stored away, maintaining records of safe working environment practices, ensuring that all equipment, pallets etc are placed back in the workshop prior to end of shift.

Full time - Mon-Thu 8am - 5pm, Fri - 8am - 4pm, Overtime/weekend work might be required.
