At Parkdean Resorts, we’re looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic Fish & Chip shop Assistant to support our busy culinary team. Whether you’re prepping ingredients, keeping the kitchen spotless, or supporting our chefs during service, you’ll play an essential part in delivering great food for our guests.

As a Fish and Chip shop Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Washing, peeling, and preparing ingredients for service.
  • Receiving deliveries, checking stock for quality and expiry dates, and storing items correctly.
  • Rotating stock to maintain freshness and support waste reduction.
  • Keeping the kitchen clean and hygienic, including appliances, ovens, work surfaces, and dishes.
  • Supporting basic food preparation tasks as directed by senior chefs.
  • Communicating clearly with colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Reporting any suspected weaknesses or breaches in the company’s information systems.
  • Upholding all safeguarding, health & safety, and hygiene responsibilities to protect guests and colleagues.

  • The ability to work well in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure kitchen.
  • Good manual dexterity and basic food preparation skills.
