What you will be doing...

  • Preparing and presenting dishes to company specifications, maintaining excellent standards of cookery and service.
  • Keeping your section and the wider kitchen clean, tidy, and hygienic throughout service.
  • Checking and recording food temperatures accurately, following company processes.
  • Completing food prep before and during service, and restocking as needed.
  • Supporting portion control and minimising food waste to help maximise profit.
  • Receiving, checking, and storing deliveries safely, following stock rotation and food safety guidelines.
  • Communicating clearly and professionally with the whole kitchen team to support a positive working environment.
  • Following all health & safety procedures including allergen policies, hygiene standards, correct equipment use, and incident reporting.
  • Completing deep‑clean tasks as directed by the Head Chef.

About you...

  • Experience in high‑volume food preparation and cooking (preferred but not essential for the right candidate).
  • The ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
  • A passion for producing great food and delivering unforgettable guest experiences.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • A Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification (or equivalent).
