What you will be doing...
- Preparing and presenting dishes to company specifications, maintaining excellent standards of cookery and service.
- Keeping your section and the wider kitchen clean, tidy, and hygienic throughout service.
- Checking and recording food temperatures accurately, following company processes.
- Completing food prep before and during service, and restocking as needed.
- Supporting portion control and minimising food waste to help maximise profit.
- Receiving, checking, and storing deliveries safely, following stock rotation and food safety guidelines.
- Communicating clearly and professionally with the whole kitchen team to support a positive working environment.
- Following all health & safety procedures including allergen policies, hygiene standards, correct equipment use, and incident reporting.
- Completing deep‑clean tasks as directed by the Head Chef.
About you...
- Experience in high‑volume food preparation and cooking (preferred but not essential for the right candidate).
- The ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
- A passion for producing great food and delivering unforgettable guest experiences.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- A Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification (or equivalent).
