Park Community School is seeking a Matron to manage our school’s first aid room on our secondary campus.
Responsibilities- You will be the first point of contact for students who are injured or feeling unwell, providing first aid, managing medical records, and offering support and reassurance.
- A current First Aid at Work qualification (or a willingness to undertake this training as soon as possible)
- Experience working with children or young people (ideally within an educational, youth work, or healthcare setting)
- An empathetic, patient, and resilient nature
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and handle medical emergencies
- Excellent communication skills and a high level of discretion/confidentiality
- Strong IT / administrative skills for record‑keeping purposes
