We are currently seeking an experienced Pre-Press Operator to join our Pre-Press department and support the production of high quality printed corporate communications and related products.
Based at Park's purpose built facility in Beckton, East London, the successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast paced and flexible environment, both independently and as part of a wider team.
Applicants should have a strong technical background in prepress, print production and PDF workflows, together with very good working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat.
You will be fully conversant with Enfocus PitStop and PDF preflight and correction workflows, and will have experience of working with prepress workflow systems such as Apogee, Kodak Prinergy or Heidelberg Prinect.
A sound understanding of imposition, colour management and print specifications is essential, together with the ability to check, correct, impose and prepare files for output to a consistently high standard.
Experience in high-end colour repro, file troubleshooting and the preparation of complex jobs for print would be a distinct advantage. Experience of working within a Prinect-based production environment would also be an advantage.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate a proven track record in a similar role and will be expected to demonstrate their technical skills as part of the interview process.
The standard hours are 11:00am - 7:00pm Monday to Friday.
Salary: Salary dependent on experience.
