I am currently working with a London Borough who are seeking an experienced Tree Officer to join their team on an interim basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a tree professional looking for a flexible, part-time contract supporting the authority with Tree Preservation Order (TPO) applications and related arboricultural casework.
The Role:
- Assess and determine Tree Preservation Order (TPO) applications
- Provide professional arboricultural advice on a variety of tree-related matters
- Undertake site visits and inspections where required
- Respond to enquiries from residents, applicants and other stakeholders
- Prepare reports and recommendations in accordance with legislation and local policy
Contract Details:
- Initial 3-month contract
- Part-time working pattern
- Flexible working arrangements available
- Site visits required as part of the role
- Rates to be discussed
