I am recruiting for an experienced Voids Coordinator to support a busy Housing Property team on an interim basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong local authority or housing association background who has extensive experience managing and improving voids services.
We are looking for someone who understands the challenges of delivering an efficient voids service and can drive performance improvements from day one.
The Role
You will take ownership of the end-to-end voids process, reviewing current practices and implementing improvements to reduce turnaround times, improve quality and deliver better outcomes for residents. Working closely with housing, repairs, contractors and senior management, you will ensure void properties are refurbished efficiently, within budget and ready for letting as quickly as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a full review of the voids process and implement service improvements.
- Manage the end-to-end void journey from property handover through to re-let.
- Monitor void performance using KPIs and identify areas for improvement.
- Work closely with repairs teams, contractors, housing officers and lettings teams.
- Challenge existing processes and introduce more efficient ways of working.
- Monitor void expenditure and identify opportunities.
